Default Looking for Cup Is - Found a set, Thanks for the help!!

FOUND A SET... THANKS!!

Just in case some folks don't peruse the WTB section....

I'm looking for a set of original Cup Is

17x7.5 ET 65 part # 965 362 164 05
17x9 ET 55 part # 965 362 168 00

I have a pair of fronts, so I only need the rears, but will go for the whole set if a seller prefers not to split them up.

There's gotta be someone out there that has some of these lying around.

Thanks!

Still looking... the holidays are a great time to purge your garage/attic to make room for the new stuff you get!

The ones RichVM has are Italian knock offs (mille miglia), FYI.

Thanks Rob
George, I have a spare set with snow tires on them now. Knowing You, they do have a few scuffs on them, and may not be acceptable.

Offsets matter!

Are these still the mille miglias, or are they a new set you acquired? I remember a couple of months ago you were trying to sell some mille miglias at genuine wheel prices, and when I commented on your facebook group saying they might be mille miglias my comment was deleted. Which upset me

I like your facebook group, I just don't like the way it's moderated.

It wasn't the offset i am referring too than the manufacturer!

And sorry to here that Phil but i am trying to sell things on don't need all this negative comments on it! I am open to constructive criticism but the fact that i deleted your comment was of different nature! That i am happy to discuss with you in a private mail or pm.

Thanks Rich

George - I did some google searches using the rear part number and came up empty. When searching for my front Cup II's, that's where I had the most success. My part number is pretty rare here in the states, so in addition to the usual spots like Craigslist and U.S. eBay, I wound up searching the German and UK eBay sites. Ultimately, I found mine in a small speed shop in Germany and had them shipped here. I doubt you'll have to go to that length, though. Good luck with your search, and I'll keep a look out, too.

If you search around here you'll find that the mille miglias are an inferior quality to the genuine Porsche wheels, (they are softer, bend more easily and I think I even read that they are heavier) it is important that you tell people that they are not genuine when you sell them as that's good selling practice right?

I managed to put a set together. Thanks for the assistance.

I learned a lot during the search, but still figuring out part numbers, offsets and RDK sensors.

I found wheels with the above part numbers both with and without RDK sensors. Also found a 17x7.5 set with the same offset but a slightly different part number, no sensors.

Once I get them mounted and decide for sure I did the right thing, I'll likely look to unload my Carrera IIIs to offset some of the cost.

Cheers.
