Default Need Manuals

I don't know if it is still possible to obtain the "back-up" versions of the manuals on CD. I've read that Porsche had shut down these PDF sellers, but I need to find a low cost option for obtaining them. Between my travel expenses and the down payment for getting my new 928, I am a bit strapped for cash. I need to be conservative with funds for the time being or my wifes current "like" for the car may quickly dissappear! If you know what I mean...

As it turns out, I seem to have a host of mechanical problems that need immediate attention just so that I can drive the car. Perhaps even clutch replacement may be required, so I need to troubleshoot the clutch system thoroughly and the manuals would appear mandatory in order to do that properly.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Bill
