Got to the 928 Owners club site, register as a user (no membership sign up required) and then go to the "Resources" pull down and select "Vin decoder".

This is what i get when i enter the VIN (BTW third character is wrong, must be a "0" not an "O"). Looks better on the website. I just did a quick copy / paste.
