Default Parts Teaser - Help needed!!!

1994 GTS in Dubai. Car is well optioned and originally made for the King of Saudi Arabia.

LHD car.

Instrument pod (GTS) has the two lower wheels left & right where you would normally find the rheostat for dimming the instrument lights (left side) and the intermittent wipers on the other side.

Well this car has an additional push button next to the dimming wheel on the left side. According to the owner this is to set the odometer and maybe the stop watch (time elapsed) readouts.

So my question - I need to find the electrical portion for this additional button. You can see it clearly in the pictures. I have looked everywhere in PET to no avail. The white electrical part sitting on its own on the bench.

Anyone know the part number??????????????????

Mine has it too. Here's a scan of the owners manual section related to that.
Anything I can look at on mine for you?

Perhaps it is integral to the part 928 613 341 00? I have been looking for that item as well...

Cheers!

Carl - Already supplied 928 613 341 00 70B - it is just the switch face - you can see it in the picture without the 0.

On my GTS the odo and elapsed time are reset by the stalk on the combination switch - left lower.
Dave what does the left lower stalk do on your car?

The lower left does all the other dash computer functions such as priority 1, 2 & 3 faults, fuel, temp, speed, selection of odo/trip 1/trip 2, etc, etc. ... with the 0 button we're talking about only functioning as a trip 1 & 2 reset, and stop/start for s/watch.

I can pull the panel out and have a look, after I've been diving today, if you like ... maybe there's a number on it.

Roger: My '90 S4 Euro has the same reset button. The slot occupied by the North American reset **** has the ROW rear fog ****. Perhaps you can find what you are looking for listed in PET under earlier ROW cars that also had the digi dash.

Does the car have a royal smell to it?

I've been to the King's Pavilion in Riyadh airport and the amount of gold on the ceiling could run a small country for years.

Surprised that something isn't gold plated in this car….

my ex Japan RHD '90 also has the same button which operates the zero for the time & trip the same as Dave's GTS. I will pop out the swtich tonight & see if i can locate a part number.

Cheers,

Roger,
I had a look at mine and there were no part numbers on it.
I also had a look at the button for the intensive washer (on the other side of the pod) and it's electrical part looks the same.
I replaced this part (928.613.342.00) a couple of years ago and it came with this little switch part in it.
Have a look at one of these and see if the switch is included. If so, pop it out and put it into the tripset switch (928.613.341.00) and you should be good to go.

Cheers
Myles

Per Miles and Dave, both my UK GT & GTS have the same 'zero' button which functions as described above.

Roger - does your SE have it?

It looks to me, in PET, that the P/N of 928 613 341 00 is the switch, and P/N 928 613 341 00 70B is for the black blanking panel only.

What do you get if you order 928 613 341 00? PET is a mystery to me sometimes.

So the ROW button on lower left of the pod is rear fog light, which isn't applicable to USA?
