Default PCM harness firewall insertion order...

What is the order of insertion of the connectors into the firewall, big first? Small first? Particular order?

Also about the hooks on the motor mount brackets, whats the best way to go about clearing them when installing motor? The way i see it, the problem is that you have to push motor rearward to clear the hooks, but can't push it back far enough because of brake booster and other things in the way, and if you lower it enough to clear the brake booster, well now the hooks are sitting on the mounts. Pry bar motor rearward while there's some of the motor weight on the mounts/hooks to get it in?

I have good luck installing the biggest connectors first then the smaller ones fit in.

As far as the MM question the mounts should be loosely bolted to the engine,
drop the engine down and into the cross member .
the single studs will fall into the holes then the nuts are installed

Your description of trying to clear hooks doesn't make any sense.
Please post pictures of what your concerned about

See below link for Post 49, it has a picture of the part that should be bolted to the engine

Harness is in, no problems there, they all fit well, just that the wiring gets so stiff as it ages, plus it was cold today so.

So you loosely fasten mounts to engine along with finger plates and guide it into the crossmember holes?
