Another "WIN" for Wally P
Followed Wally's directions for testing the reason for my fuel pump not running -no voltage to term. 15 on Relay XVII- removed plug "Z" and jumpered Z4 and Z6 - voila - de car she starts and runs normally so the factory alarm had set itself somehow and prevented voltage to plg. "Z". I had discounted this approach because the PO had told me he had disabled the alarm and I had never used it over the 5 yrs I've owned the car.
One more ? for Wally on this topic - jumpering Z4 and Z6 obviously works but in an earlier post (02/18/03) "928 bypass factory alarm" you suggest jumpering Z1 and Z6 to do the bypass? Do I leave the former or the latter for permanent bypass?
