Something is odd about it.
It has the headlight adjuster **** next to the parking brake. That's a "Euro only" item.
It also looks like it has Euro driving/fog lights, not US fog/parking lights (although I could be wrong on that).
But it has US corner markers, and no Euro fender turn signals.
It's too bad the PET won't give results for the VIN on the early cars.

are the rear wipers supposed to be there while at rest?
deduct another 1K for inattention to detail.

Will be curious to know about the headlight adjuster ****. The wiper should be resting in the left-most position. It has been said elsewhere here that 78s and 79s didn't come with the plastic hot post cover. Is the rubber front bumper seal missing; hard to tell in the pic? Overall looks nice to me.

This one came off the line right in front of mine. Mine also has the headlight adjuster, and did NOT have the jump post cover (I added it). Except for the pascha, this is identical to mine (well, also mine was abused, neglected, and unloved, mine hopefully might be this nice again, one day.).

Very nice indeed and probably under priced the way the market is going for rare early cars in this kind of condition.
No jump post cover on the early cars - 78.
Air intake tubes have been replace with the later 80+ type.

I see you guys finally found this one. I have talked with the dealer. They have no service records. None. Assumed to be on the original clutch and the last timing belt service is unknown but at least more than 30k miles ago. Repainted in the original silver but is spider webbing on the sides. Imho it needs a full respray. The best thing going for it is the low serial number.

Only US cars got those. It was tax related because of the smog era and 55mph speed limits. I changed mine out in my 81 for a 170 mph unit so I know how fast I am actually going

Very nice looking original car and it is underpriced, imo.
