Fitting a reversing camera - need to find the easiest reverse wire connection
I have bought a JVC head unit with 3.5" screen so I can fit & use a reversing camera. This needs to connect to the reverse light wire to give power when reverse gear is selected.
- Can anyone suggest the easiest place to connect into the revers light circuit? [my88 S4]
I have looked around the rear lights etc but there is nowhere easy to make a connection.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Thanks guys. Do you have any photos? I looked behind the panel but couldn't see the wires.

Thanks Alan
Will this just give a signal or is it a power supply to the lights?
My JVC manual calls for a power wire to the rear reversing lights?
Thanks

As a separate issue - the radio signal is very weak / poor. Have tried a couple of head units on most of them cannot receive radio stations - just my old kenwood?

- Checked the 250mA power out for the aerial & that's all connected
- If I hold the aerial connector I get a better reception
- If I UN-Plug the aerial all together the radio signal is BETTER???
How do you figure that one out?
