Default Vacuum door locks

I am working on my project euro 1978. I used the WSM to diagnose the system. When locking and unlocking driver door the the right side does not open. I am applying vacuum to the blue inlet hose using a hand vacuum pump. I also tried actuating by applying vacuum at the red and green tubes. I hear something moving but no actuation. No leaking. I have not been inside the right door yet. I can lock and unlock manually. I guess there is a problem at the vacuum actuator or binding issue in the mechanism. Any guesses?

Mine started binding once in a while. And the vacuum actuator doesn't seem to be as strong as it used to be. And it seems the vacuum reservoir doesn't hold as long as it used to. (damn, feeds like writing a Viagra commercial)

See if the window trim is binding it by removing the ****.

What Dan said. More than likely its binding. I think the right side has a relief spring on the actuator, and if things get jammed-up it springs. May need to be reset.
Also seen it many times where parts of this system are removed, disengaged, or installed improperly.
You need to go into the doors. Clean and lube all the latch circuitry. Probably all gummed up and working marginally.
Also add a check valve in front of the air reservoir to isolate the vac lock system from the vac hvac stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably investigate later this weekend and report back what I find.
