I'm home for 3 days, so I decided to change out all the ABS looms to all 4 corners, and new wheel sensors. Everything went well till I got to the plugs on the drivers side at the shock tower. Both plugs broke apart exposing the pins.
Should I use a crimp connector to splice in a replacement for each plug, or try to find a new replacement loom for the ABS wire, and the pad wear sensor? The ABS wiring has 2 wires, wrapped in foil, with a bare copper strand. Looks like a nightmare to try to splice it all together. Plus the wire are thin as hairs.
Car has been sitting since 3rd coast last year. Sitting a little longer, ain't a problem. I want to do this right the first time, so it's the last time.
I'm open for thoughts and suggestions.
thanks
joe

I don't think those shape-keyed two pole plugs are available as just the housing like some of the other plugs on the car (cooling fan power for example.) I have "patched" a couple on my car by encasing the bits in urethane bumper repair epoxy.
I think your options are to by a used engine bay loom and hope the plugs are solid enough to be spliced into your harness or replace both sides of the junction with something like a weatherpak connector.
