Default Dash detailing

What are the best cleaning liquids and/or protective sprays for use on the 928 dash & pod ?

What has proven to be tried & true and not leaving your dash & pod looking like the Grand Canyon ?

Seems like there are more (non consumer auto parts store pro detailer) offerings than ever from sites like www.detailersdomain.com.... but I would rather stick to something old school.

Thanks,
Tom

Important to know if you're leather or vinyl.

303 Aerospace protectant - UV resistant and no silicone so no cracking. Preferred by Aussie 928 owners here in this ultra-high-UV environment. Readily available from lots of places.

Just had some professional repairs done on mine (vinyl) been using 303 on mine for the short time I've had it. We use it on our aircraft. The dash guy agreed that ( as Hilton said) 303 was the best.

This stuff.

Its one of the very few leather protectors that has some UV protection in it.

Thanks.
I ran out of Vinylex recently. I have used Vinlyex for a long time (since I first heard about it ....might have been at Frenzy 4 or 5 and a guy named Larry was running a detailing demo).

I was thinking maybe something better has come along. Since I'm in SW FL, now, and the sun & UV are intense ...any improved protection is worth a shot.

Going to try 303 next and also Leather Therapy on the 87's seats.

Regards,
Tom

ColorPlus(.com) Soffner is a great/best treatment for your leather. It's not a put on and drive treatment - have to wait a bit for it to soak in and work. I clean with warm water afterwards. My leather has no silicons or other agents in it.
