The flag mirrors are different internally between 1978-1986 and 1987-1991, (glass attachment, motor types, wiring & functionality). Digidash cars (89-91) have a slight variation again for the ambient temp sensor
You may want to ask for a specific type (S4/Pre-S4) for what you need.

Hey Rod... I can hook you up I think. I have to look in my attic of stuff, but I'm pretty sure I have the mirrors from my GT in Guards Red. It's probably a bit pitted, but it should work.

It has a rock chip and a small scratch, also the mirror base is the three prong push in type, but if all you need is the casting and if it is good enough condition, It's yours. let me know. I got a special 928 part gift from another fellow RLr, so this is my pay it forward gift to you.
