Hell I wasn't even there!! I still haven't even seen it.

I had to get my son to send me that pic lol. He is such a car nut, mom picked him up from school to watch the car get unloaded safely, and inspect it for any damage! He's telling me, "the car starts good, catches real fast, clutch feels good, gears feel good, car sounds good. Lol. He is 14 and probably could have started driving at 12........

No kidding. I was sweating that. But they got here in about 29 hours, almost 1400 miles. Came on a four car hauler, being towed by a diesel dually. Glad they made it before it hits the fan around here.

With no tags, and no inspection, they pulled that sucker right into the garage. Here are some more pics he sent me along the way while we were working out a deal.

He spent two years restoring this car. I ended up giving $9,200 for it. Here is the before pic of the engine compartment. This guy did a lot of work to this car......

This is so cool. Smart Kid.

Good luck with it.

Must be very nice to have an old body style car in the garage next to the S4.

Colors look about right together too.

Is it heresy to recommend changing from flag mirrors?

Will clean/flip that filter asap. He only drove the car 200 miles since he restored it.

I have some interior pictures at work. Will post them up tomorrow. Car sounds really good. Revs really quick compared to my auto S4. Not having to spin that giant fluid filled converter up makes a big difference...

Very nice car! Congratulations

Great job on the restoration. It looks like he forgot to reinstall the windshield washer system nozzle heating cables, but that isn't much of a big deal

Here are a few pictures of the inside. Both front seats are in great shape. Just a few scratches in the drivers side bolster, but no rips/tears in the leather on the seats. There is one small cut on the drivers side door panel and on the rear storage bin. And it does have a rug cover over the dash.
