It's a pain in the ***: I have two events I like to make every year - Frenzy in October and Hershey in April - and it's looking like the Army is going to step on both of those this coming year.
As far as the complaining: it's my right as a Soldier to complain! But, I've stuck with it for a total of 23 years (including two deployments), so there must be something about it! The 'goddam, goddam Army' thing is from the movie M*A*S*H; it's what my wife and I say whenever the Army gets in the way of other things.
Despite the complaining, it's my distinct and genuine pleasure to serve.
As far as the complaining: it's my right as a Soldier to complain! But, I've stuck with it for a total of 23 years (including two deployments), so there must be something about it!
