I would still get the inspection by a known 928 expert. My car came with a stack of receipts from the local Porsche / Rolls Royce dealership, and what mattered was the inspection by Greg Brown. Dealers rarely have a mechanic that knows the 928 well, and are notorious for partial repairs, or only fixing the specific item requested by the owner.

Enjoy the car, a 91 GT is a great choice, and a huge bargain compared to anything new.
