Perhaps Willhoit decided to test the auction waters with this one. http://www.willhoitenterprises.com/car562.html

Interesting question what kind of incremental value a pristine, low-miles GT has over a "regular" one. Willhoit has proven that there's a huge increment like that on a GTS but maybe the fact that he's auctioning one of his two GTs means the jury's out on that model?

The auction has 65 Porches in it so I don't think the 91 GT will sell.
Day 1 has allot of cars not meeting the reserve and this 1997 Ferrari 355 with 27k miles sold for $35k,

I'm not going to say it will or will not sell, but I don't see how 65 other Porsche's has anything to do with it.
65 other 928's......that I could understand.
The experts on FerrariChat do not think very highly of this particular 355:

This particular user owns (and is selling) a very rare 355GTS:

So far 1/3 of the cars auctioned are selling and the rest are not hitting the reserve. It was not the best 355 ever but $35k is cheap for that car.
"The experts on FerrariChat do not think very highly of this particular 355"
So because one guy heard it was a parts car it must be?
Here is the whole thread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348...pider-35k.html
The 91 GT is just coming up live online...

That "one" guy in the 355 world knows his stuff.
Kind of like questioning the opinion of Rob Edwards or Dr. Bob over here.
The fact that 355 is missing parts under the hood, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket brakes, most likely questionable or no service history, high mileage, unpopular color (if you thought 928 people were picky....) the list goes on I'm sure.
Not to mention the convertibles are the lowest value of all the 355's all other factors being equal.
Again, I have no say or opinion either way on the 928GT in question, but that 355 is hardly an example of the overall auction and current market condition.
