My experience going to Katie's Cars and Coffee suggests arriving at 6:00 am (there will be others arriving earlier to get spots right in front of Katie's - which is attached to the well known Old Brogue). It's worth it...better than most organized car shows. The variety of vehicles and unusual cars is impressive. I'll never forget when a crowd was checking out a Lambo and MB with flip up doors, lots of carbon fiber, and at least 12 cylinders.....when suddenly a three-wheeled bubble car in perfect condition drove past and everyone turned and followed it. I lost count of the number of orange Lambos and red Ferraris....but I'm sure there was on only 1 bubble car. Funny how rare and cute can trump several hundred thousand dollars - at least for getting attention. I saw only one other 928. Lots of people interested in the 928s...and a few deliberately speaking loud enough for me to hear "Awesome cars, but a maintenance nightmare", and "nothing more expensive than a cheap 928". Of course they have no first hand experience... Anyway...Katie's is THE best Car's and Coffee in the NOVA/DC/MD area.

Does anyone need a room at the Frenzy hotel for Friday and Saturday? I think someone said they were booked, and I have a room with a king-size bed.

I just booked a room for Friday and Sat.
Anyone who can get up that early enough to hit Katies on Sat has a lot of stamina. I considered just sleeping in my van in the parking lot.
If anyone can bring a fan controller - the one next to the passenger seat, I'd appreciate it. I need one I can tear apart, so I'd rather use a broken one. I want to trace the guts and see if there are some nice places to tap and monitor.

For others that still need to book a room, go to www.928frenzy.org and click on the "Where is Frenzy" tab and you'll see the hotel booking link there.

So I called and said i was with the Frenzy group and was told nothing was available at that group rate. I had to book at full rate pricing.
