Default PET install question

Is there a way to designate where the PET program installs itself? I seem to have no control over where it gets installed on my hard drive.

Gregg,
It was some time ago when I did mine, but I've just checked, and I have it installed in a seperate part of my hard drive ("D") - so it must be possible to determine where it is located.

maybe your version is different to mine

While we're at it, mine is too large for my screen. Is there a way to make it smaller?

Change you Desk Top screen size to 1280 X 1024 right before you start the program. I think thats what everyone else is doing.

John,
Thanks. I did that before as well. But I now no longer have two drives. I didn't try installing it again. Maybe I'm blowing hot air without trying it again.
Is the heat wave still in effect? I've been laughing somewhat at what is called hot. My last property could be 110 during the day and 90 F at night. ALL SUMMER! It was dreadful. So I sold it and was rewarded handsomely. Ok, I'll stop bragging and get under the car...

Hi Gregg,
"D" is just a partition of my main drive.............

Yes, hottest day on record here today, about 100deg F. We're just not used to it !

And you know how the British are obsessed with the weather, as it's completely unpredicable. Always a sure topic of conversation.......

I just re-installed mine, after putting Win2000 on the system - didnt work . It gave me a choice of drives to install on, and full or programs only. Works fine after reinstall. You MUST set screen res at 1280x1024 for the install, but after that you can run at lower settings , just cant see all the data.
