Cool almost there

Hi people, I finally drove the car for a spin for a few miles. The fuel pump relay problem was caused by the alarm system. With help of Wally and some other members I bypassed it and the car runs "good" now.

It is a little rough but I bought it as a project and there are some other things to be fixed. I was wondering if any of you have a good MAF for sale? When I plug the MAF the car dies instantly and start back if it is disconnected. I tried to rev it at a higher RPM but it does the same thing.

So one thing I hope is for the car to idle better when I install a good MAF

P.s. Wally, in your posting regarding bypassing the Alarm, you asked me to connect plug Z3 and Z6 (which worked for me). In some later postings I read from other member to bypass Z4 and Z6. What is the difference? I know mine works perfectly.

If I said Z3 and Z6 I was wrong. Z3 is on bus 30, (constant-on battery bus) while Z4 is on bus 15 (switched ignition bus).

Z3 may run your battery down over a period of time.
