The jack (in its felt bag) goes behind the tool panel on the pass (LHD) side.

On my GTS the highly profiled foam on the bottom of the carpet above the spare wheel well shows a special place for the lug wrench at the back. However I have other stuff there now that make this no longer possible - even before that I had started storing the lug wrench behind the tool panel too. I made a fabric sheath for it to combat rattles. There is a trick to making it fit - you need to use the open area up above the outboard end for the socket end - then it fits well with the jack & all tools - no rattles & easy to locate.

My wrench is a Klein also - pretty sure it's original.

I have also attached rubber straps to the tool panel to minimise rattles at the wrench end (usually due them falling out of the slots).

Alan, just what I needed! And your Klein lug wrench appears to be identical to mine. Good ideas on the sock for the wrench and the hold-downs for the tools, I'll copy as I hate to hear rattles from that area. Thanks!

I looked for a good while to find suitable straps. Ultimately Target proved fruitful & inexpensive in the hair care aisle...

I think they had pink ones also!

Chuck,
Is it one of YOUR old t-shirts? Or a previous owner's t-shirts? Since it's a Charlie car, it may need to be washed if the latter is true. No telling what may be on that shirt.
