Starter gets stuck
My starter gets stuck when I do my first start of the day (this is especially true when it is cold). The rest of the day the car starts just fine. When the starter gets stuck it keeps running for several seconds even after I have turned the ignition off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

This can be mechanical or electrical.
If it is mechanical, it is probably in the starter or the starter solenoid. Disassembly and inspection would be the first step.
If it is electrical, it can be a hanging ignition switch. The feel of the switch could be a clue here.
