Default Correct part number, tensioner idler, please help...

1984 US model

I am going through my checklist to make sure I have all the parts accumulated for my upcoming timing belt job, but have found some conflicting information on the tensioner idler roller part number.

928 INTL website says 928-105-571-00 is for 78 through 84. This is the one I have purchased.

928 Specialist Website says 928-105-571-00 is only through 78-83 and that 84-86 use 928-105-571-02.

Pelican says both (that 928-105-571-00 fits my 84, but also shows 928-105-571-02 being used from 83-86).

So, would someone please be able to confirm the correct part number for the tensioner idler roller for a US 1984 model?

I'm trying to confirm all my correct parts before actually tearing into the front end so I can hopefully knock it out in a weekend with minimal downtime. Thanks.

See PET.
Hope it helps.
84 is in the 83 - 86 catalog.

Driver, call 928intl and ask for the correct one. May need to use your vin to be precise.

Thanks. I was reviewing that. Looking at the PET diagram, my engine number is M28/19 81E00242. Since E comes after D it looks lie all M28/19engines that come after 81D00790 through the end of '84 should be using 928-105-571-02. I presume 81E00242 comes after 81D00790.

Am I reading the PET diagram correctly?

I would give a call, and have the PET on the screen. Mark and Tom will make it right.
