Speaking of Grey-Green Interiors.....
Check it out.......pretty NICE car, even for the buy-it-now of $15K.
If I had the $$$$ laying around, I'd get it for a daily driver....
Is this one really grey-green??. Lighting may be a little off, but looks like it.

That car is the same interior/exterior colors as my meteor metallic 86.5, with greyish-green interior. I did not believe the color when I saw it in person, as it appeared grey in photos But as I became familar with it over time it grew on me and now I appreciate the combination more and more. I find it to be of neutral awareness while driving through county or city. It simply fades into non-visibility and the important issue, where you are going and how, becomes unimpeded. That is in contrast to garish and highly contrasing interior colors which demand attention to them so that you are constantly pondering their "uniqueness" or "beauty" rather than operating the vehicle 100%. While in the driver's seat you are not sitting in your living room, particularly at triple digit speeds. For these reasons, I have always liked black interiors in Porsches. But this greyish-green has grown on me.
And the exterior is appreciated as well for its machine like appearance. The safest colors are those that get you noticed and appear larger than they really are: white, red, orange, yellow. Unfortunately, Smokey also notices them as well, particularly "arrest me red"; red cars have the distinction of receiving the most citations of any color. Dark colors recede and appear smaller and farther away than they are, and are harder to notice. That doesn't help accident avoidance, but does increase chances for slipping past Smokey's peripheral view. Grey, silver and intermediate colors fall somewhere in between black and white and are seen but mostly as "part of the pack". My personal preference is silver with black or blue, but this meteor metallic is soothing, machine-like and visible without irritation. I like it.

Wow. That's some fine writing, Ron.
I agree with you about the importance of a low "awareness level" interior, I've always liked my cars to have black cloth.
I like that Grey-green interior, but my brown will do for now.
