Default 86.5 X-Pipe Vendor, Question

Hi All,

Does the x pipe come as a complete welded unit? The reason I ask is because I was wondering if for international shipping if it's possible to come as three pieces and I'll get my exhaust guy to weld it altogther.

Cheers
Scott

Yes one piece, however you could get the Cat option and then buy the test pipes, this would make it shorter for shipping.

The X-pipe can be shipped internationally as is, if cut for cats the box will be even shorter but as a complete unit can be shipped anywhere. The outside dimensions are 25"x9"x36".

42"/107cm max length (79"/200cm L+W+H) to Australia via USPS.

(Liftbars are too long - but you can buy just the ends! )

No problem shipping Internationally - do it all the time.
Slightly bigger than the USPS dimensions but we (and MotorSports SLC) are well known at the Post Office so not an issue.

I had the complete system shipped here, and every piece was protected with bubble wrap and well packaged. You won't be disappointed ... every piece is a work of art.

Note that a big part of this cost is handling by MotorSports. They have a high cost for putting the pipe in a box, deliver it at the post office and fill out some forms. That is at least my experience with shipment to Norway.

Uh...Motorsport is the manufacturer of the crossover and cat back system...we do a bit more than put them in a box, deliver it at the post office and fill out some forms. I build each one personally. What exactly is your experience?

BTW, glad you like it Dave. I aim to please!

Overseas shipping is often more costly for just one item. With a larger consignment all the spaces can be filled, which reduces the shipping cost per item.

This is a simple fact, and it's unfair to suggest that any supplier here would profit from shipping. It's in their interests to find the most economical way to ship to customers, and it's been my experience that shipping costs to me are less than I could arrange myself.

I suspect you're confusing 928motorsports with Motorsports SLC?

Carl does not rebox my exhaust components, they are dropshipped directly from here for both Carl and Roger in almost all cases. They both used to stock some items but this works easier for all of us. I have all options at my fingertips so there is no delay in most cases.
