It never ceases to amaze me how many people choose steering wheels that reflect the safety standard of 10 years before the 928 was introduced: Steering wheels with exposed metal spokes.

Why do pretty much all cars from the mid-70ies onwards have spokes covered? Because bare metal spokes are a major, major risk for head injuries in a collision.

The chance of one's upper body bending forward and the head hitting these metal spokes under the forces of an impact is real and very high. This has been proven in crash tests over and over again. So, unless you are always driving with a helmet, this really isn't a good idea...

In the end, everybody has to decide for himself; hope you all stay safe!

Let me know your impressions after a week or two of getting used to driving with it?

It's been over a year now.

Continues to be one of the best upgrades ever.

Leather and stitching still looks like new.

The emblem has much more color and definition in real time.
What model of Momo is that?

Stock is the best IMHO. Had same wheel in my 87' 911 but I swear this one feels better.

I agree on the interior! I bought this one from Brent at third coast last month. Absolutely love the car. Might consider giving up my 90 GT at some point...
