You can use the Corvette tranny signal and connect it to the Dakota Digital signal converter to feed your speedometer. I believe 77Tony has that installed on his conversion. I don't have the model # handy but just look at www.dakotadigital.com

The Dakota Digital signal converter will allow you to fine tune the signal to match actual speed. I believe the stock (later) Porsche system takes the ABS signal and sends it to a frequency converting "relay" on the CEB (relay XIX I think). I'm pretty sure the digital dash's speed input parameters are the same regardless of MY. Just the source of the signal and the required signal processing is different on the later cars that use the ABS sensor. SO you would still have to run your ABS signal to the speed relay and then onto the speedometer...still have to add something as I am sure the digital dash can't read the ABS signal directly. I'm sure the electrical experts can chime in on that.

The box that Carl is referring to can also tap in to the front ABS sensor (right at the brain), which will then allow you to not worry about the wiring to the rear if you would prefer that.....
Alternatively, the later clusters likely use the same drive etc. but will have different programming in one of the chips to account for the higher pulse rate.....
