Default Leaking half shaft/CV joint...

During my last race, most of the grease in the outer CV Joint leaked out. Upon closer inspection, it appears that it leaked thru the hole in the centre of the driveshaft. Is there any way to repair this.

The actual CV joint appears to have no play, no tear in the boot and some grease left in it, so I would loathe to bin it, because of what looks like a minor fault...

Thanks in advance,

Alexander

remove the axle, clean the grease add a small ball of tinfoil thats a bit bigger than the hole, drive it into the hole about 1/2 inch,
then add some JB weld , let it setup, refit the axle with fresh grease
