Of course and have loafers but no socks.

Next OCIC should include a Miami Vice costume contest.

Problem is, Randy would get confused and show up like this:

Front: 225/40/18
Rear: 265/35/18

Fill up the wheel wells perfectly without rubbing or mods to the fenders.

I like the updated look. The BBS's are now in the garage. I'll probably sell them soon to somebody who wants the "retro"/**** carpet/coke flecked look!

What you do with your sheep skins in the privacy of your own home is up to you, as long as the sheep skin is consenting, of course.

Polished BBS with silver centers does look much better than sad rims with gold centers

I really like the period look, so I will probably never put any newer wheels than 1995 on my car. Under the shell is a completely different thing

Photo #2 is my car with the Panameras on it. Absolutely love it. Updates the car thoroughly, and makes the wider tires make the 'stance' of the car less low sled and much more the supercar that it is.

Will probably be selling the old BBS after cleaning them up.

If you like period look gold BBS waffles, PM me. I'll send photos and we'll make a deal.

Thanks for your posts!

There is no way to make those old BBS wheels look good. BBS does make a nice wheel now and I would like to see them in 18 on a nice 928 with big rotors - http://mbworld.org/forums/attachment...els-bbs_f1.jpg

Putting Fuchs on ANY 928 isn't right (shudder).

But then again, I didn't care much for them on the 911, either.

IMHO and race cars aside, BBS weave wheels always look more at home on street BMW's than PCars of the same period -- even in gold....

They look like plastic chrome stick-ons.

I'd easily take the BBS over that horror show.

And, I hate BBS...Didn't like 'em then....still don't like 'em now.
