Default Clutch Install

I'm sort of out time. We're moving houses, and I have to move the 928 (to temporary storage) for our closing. Its mostly back together, with the engine back in, but I still have a list of smaller items to address, and I didn't have a chance to check my work, test the fuel system, or drain the tank of old fuel, so its close, but not in running order right now.

The last major part that need to be installed is the clutch (and starter). I've been looking for a good clutch write up since I can't remember what I did when removing it - it's been years now. I can't recall if the clutch assembly has to be mounted to the fly wheel the same way it came off or if it can go on any way.

Alternative is skipping the clutch install. That would leave the slave free, and I seem to remember needing to prevent this - slave pin is currently held by zip ties and a 13mm socket. This option is obviously easier, but I loose the ability to hold the car on the trans and potentially create clutch hydraulic problems if the above is true. Could also just zip tie the slave to the under body and call it good for now....

I’m not married to either option so any any thoughts / suggestions that would help button this up so I can move it this week would be awesome.

Thanks - Dave
