This has been mentioned on the mailing list, but I haven't noticed any mention of it here yet. As they do every year, the Chicago region PCA will be putting on an event at Road America over the Labor Day weekend. What makes this year different is that there will be a number of 928s participating. So far Mark Anderson, Joseph Fan, and Don Hanson will all be there from the west coast in their stroker motor cars. David Lloyd, and John Venninger will be there from the east coast, and Jean-Louis Piquet from the midwest will be there in their 5liter/Euro cars. When was the last time you saw six 928s all out on the track at the same time participating in a club race? Besides that, there will be at least a couple of other 928s participating in the D.E. sessions that will also be going on that weekend, one of which will be Carl Fausett's supercharged '78. There will be other 928s and 928 owners there to help out and spectate, including a few additional supercharged ones. Sounds like it might be a pretty good weekend.

need a lots of help with 6 drivers for the race and two drivers for the DE

The Chicago Region ain't much for posting stuff on their website._ Was
hoping they'd show not only the schedule, but also who's registered.

However, I've found the race organizers quite responsive to specific
emails (I'm trying to get them to assign a paddock area just for the
928s)._ Here's the schedule they sent me for the race group that
includes GT2R & S:

Friday, 29 AUG
_ _ DE and racer "test & tune" day._ Our group on track at 9:30, 11:30 &
2:30, 30 minute sessions.

Saturday, 30 AUG
_ _ DE and racer Practice & Practice Starts/Fun Races._ Our group on
track at 9:40, 11:45 & 1:50, 25
_ _ minute sessions._ Fun race at 4:25, scheduled for 35 minutes._ Big
soiree that night in Elkhart Lake.

Sunday, 31 AUG
_ _ DE and racer warm-up, qualifying and sprint race._ Our group on
track at 8:50 & 10:55 for 25 minutes
_ _ each._ _ _ Race is at 3:30 for 45 minutes.

Monday, 1 SEP
_ _ DE and racer warm-up, qualifying and endurance race._ Our group on
track at 8:25 & 9:15 for 25
__ minutes._ _ _ _ _ Race at 1:15, 90 minute race.

I'll be there as a spectator, car won't be ready for the track by Labor Day. We should all try to meet at Siebkens saturday after the event.

Anybody know if they will offer touring like they did Memorial Day Weekend?
