Auto Shipping
I never mentioned I used Executive Auto Shipping to get my 87 barn car from the Poconos 1300 miles south to SWFL.
They are a broker I found on Angies List and after a few phone calls were the only ones that could pick the car up when needed because of some crazy stuff.
Had just repainted the front bumper and other body work so I asked to upgrade to using an enclosed car trailer.
One of their proven sources Troy Shipping was used and great. The driver constantly called with updates. No worries man.
It was only a 3 or 4 car rig pulled by a big *** chevy pick up. Dang it was a nice looking rig.
Cant say enough of good things about them.
Just passing along some info on my situation & what really worked out great.

Priced a few carriers and everyone was about $1200 for enclosed. Including the big guys like Reliable and Intercity.
The big guys had about 3 weeks to a month lead time and were fully booked in advanced & that was an issue for me.
Open was around $900 to a few bucks over but worried about having the front spoiler torn by the ramps.
My issue became having to be in SWFL and then drove the car to my bro in Red Bank NJ but his schedule was tight and had biz travel.
Also and thinking it might be an 18 wheeler it would be easier that p/up in the sticks.
However the guy had a rig that could go anywhere. That provided a door to door p/u & drop off.
Oh, most of the drivers prefer c.o.d.
