Default A new 'twist' on wheel fitment..?

A guy in my area (practically in my neighborhood) has two sets of wheels for a 2003 996 Porsche C4S wide body. His original CL ad was for the two sets of fronts as a set of four 18x8s, and the two sets of rears as a set of four 18x11s.

I have an 82, so I've gathered via the 'search' function that the 18x11s won't fit without (at least) fender rolling. (If I'm wrong, please correct me.)

The stock wheels are 15x7s, so could the 18x8s be mounted all around?

Shawn

Yes you will need a mild fender roll to accmadate the 11's

I run 11's now with a 285 series tire, I've had a 295 series on there in the past.

My fenders are very slightly rolled.

So, is a slight roll the only accommodation? I don't have a problem with rolling the fenders a little...

When you shop for tires, look for "section width". The "285" number is almost meaningless for what you're doing now.

There will be 285s that want a lot of fender work, and a _few_ that need almost none.
