Beautiful weekend for ~30 sharks in Hunsrück. For those that used to be in the military stationed here “back in the day”, this is ~10 miles from what used to be Hahn Air Base (now a commercial airport.) Incredible wine region with views of the 3 rivers. First-class event from the Burgstadt-hotel to the organizer, Heiko, with at least 6 other side events for entertainment. Buffet breakfast and dinners, 200 km road-rally with games at the control stations, bag lunches, etc., etc. Just an awesome event with great people, food and beer.

I used to fly into Hahn AB when I was active duty USAF many moons ago. Now we use it flying corporate jets when Frankfurt won't give us the slot times we need.

The weather sure turned out to be fantastic for this event. I'm sure that Georg, the owner of the convertible, is happy it didn't rain. Sorry I couldn't be there.
