AC recharge settings high and low

Whats the correct setting for an AC recharge. Ive read 225-300 high and between 30-40 on the low. My search didnt find any values posted. Please post if you can. Also any tips or tricks on correct procedure.

Sorry I don't know the correct setting, but in thread #6 here, there's a simple procedure from dr Bob on how to recharge the system.

It's all going to depend on ambient temperature.
It may not be correct but for me, I generally keep pressures around 28-34 low if the temps are 75-90. High side I do not like to get above 300........ever. When I was filling up an 86.5 this morning the temps were in the high 70's and when I got to 28 low and 275 high, the aux fan came on and brought the high down to 235. I added just enough to get a constant 30 low while the fan was going and was happy. Inside temps using an IR gauge showed 36 blowing and left it at that.

^^^ yep ^^^ also you can download a Temp & Pressure chart for doing 134 or R12 form the internet.
