Talking 928sRus Shout Out

Just a quick shout out to Roger and the team at 928sRUS. I am based in Melboure Australia and sharkey was due for new brake pads all round and also decided to replace all pad sensors plus new dampers. Ordered last week. Roger shipped I think Thursday or Friday his time and DHL delivered on Sunday morning! Bloody marvelous service from Roger and DHL! Suffice to say that Sharkey was up on stands, all wheels off and work underway. Just waiting for a disc machining to be completed today and then back on the road with fresh brakes. In case you are wondering I went with Rogers recommendation of the Hawke Performance street pads. Thanks Rog!

Cheers

Rog is a pretty good dude. He stopped by to "help" on Saturday afternooon and like a good English Gentleman, he brought gifts. Needless to say there wasn't any work getting done after that.

Roger is a real mensch.

I had a parts emergency once (wrong water pump) and he offered to drive it to me from Texas to Missouri.

I can't wait to meet him in person.

I'm not so sure. I call yesterday to order like $50 in parts. By the time I was off the phone, not even sure yet, but I bet it was around $800. I am guessing the same thing will happen next month also.

It saves on shipping if you order it all at once versus 10 separate orders as you realize that you need this, and that and the other thing and on and on.

It saves a lot of time not having to wait for each package to arrive too.

Roger knows well enough what will be needed and makes sure you get everything you need the first time.

I was just kidding. Porsche doesn't even make a $50 part.

Sure they do.

The window guides are about $40 per side.

The stud kit for the oil pan is $50 (admittedly not Porsche)

The little bobbins for the luggage cover are about $2 (Genuine Porsche)

I drank his beer, I borrowed his Porsche, I ogled his lovely and friendly daughter(adult one), I swam in his pool, I used his lift, I got his garage greasy -- oh, and I ordered a windscreen wiper(left side) once.

He has a beautiful 10Ga elephant gun. I suspect that may be the next thing I see when I show up.
