Hi
First I live in Sweden so my English is not very good.
There are not many 928 here. That's why I post in this forum.
My problem is cold starting it's 15 degree C(60 F) outside now.
When I crank the engine starts but stops at once. If I press the accelerator a little I can keep the engine running at 1200 rpm. After 30-60 seconds I have a stable idele at 700 rpm.
When the engine is warm it runs perfect. It also starts fine when warm.
I have checked the temp sensor and it is 1700 Ohm when cold.
Anyone of you experts can give me some hints ?

The symptom you describe is identical to what I experienced when the LH controller (for the fuel injection) started to fail on my '89 car. That controller is mounted in the passenger's footwell on the side cowl panel, with a carpet cover, just forward of the door opening. Inside there's a pair of controllers mounted to a bracket, with large black swing-arm connectors. The LH controller and the EZK (ignition controller) are both labelled. There's a lot of diagnostic information available here for LH failure, including an expanded list of typical failure symptoms. Regardless, the most effective diagnostic procedure is to swap your controller into another S4+ car and see if it does the same thing in the other car. The controllers can be rebuilt, with a couple options available. John Speake in GB may have an agent close to you who can test yours and repair it if needed. Rich Andrade at Elektronic Repair here in the US works with a group in Germany that offers the same services.
