Looking for 928 euro S2 exhaust

Every time I hear the engine I'm excited, but underwhelmed.
I was talking to a fellow 928 owner on Facebook who had a complete exhaust system for 85-86 US 928s, but I'm not sure if that would bolt easily to the car. It appears the car once had the dual pipe euro setup, but was hacked up after the catalytic converter.
I'm not interested in making an elaborate new exhaust system, especially with my current limited budget, but would like it to sound at least stock again. What available options are there for me? Anyone have a 928 S2 exhaust system they want to give away?

Get a single 3 inch exhaust with a mid pipe and a tip, best bang for the buck. Also very simple and gives a nice sound.
Or hope that some one is giving away an elusive twin pipe exhaust.

Used 85/86 would be a good solution depending on what you have left/how you handle mating it to cats or manifolds.
The 16V sounds very good through the S3 system. And if it isn't raucous enough you can get an 86.5 RMB.
86.5 muffler or RMB lets you fill the mid section with S4 or (smaller) gt resonators, too. Just need to find someone for whom the factory system is ballast, and not too far away given shipping costs.

As I understand it, the single pipe 3" system won't allow the RoW cars to breathe properly. You really want the dual 2.5" system - at least that is what I have been advised.
In an effort to most closely replicate the original system for my '81 RoW S model, I have purchased an 85 center and pumpkin muffler, and will be fabricating the original front muffler from a 2 in, 2 out off the shelf example, with the appropriate flanges from the catalytic converter that was once on my car. Perhaps you can do this as well.

83-86.0 US/ROW all use the same dual-ish cat-back 'S' system - should bolt right on.
(86.5 won't fit because of the huge mids required changes to the body. FYI, 86.5 pipes are a bit larger, except at the rear muffler.)
(more exhaust size info)
