Default Deep Leather Center Console Lid

Hi Guys...just wanted to share a product that I purchased on Ebay for a very reasonable price. The quality is very good and bolted right up in place of the old shallow cover.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/190426185940...84.m1439.l2649

And some pics before and after....

No affiliation, just a happy customer. Shipping time was a little over two weeks.

Very cool. I remember Jerry (feather) mentioning doing something similar, although not sure if it's deeper on the top(like this) or on the bottom half (would prefer the bottom to be deeper).

I think Jerry's is a complete replacement console with a deeper base.

Peter makes some great 928 products and I can highly recommend him.
He supplies me with all my hatch receiver liners.

Nice work. I'm planning to do mine (front & rear) later this month, thanks for the reference.

How do you choose the color from him? He doesn't have a drop down to choose the color? Did I miss something?

Peter - the ebay seller who sells the taller armrest lid.

I've had one of his taller armrests in my '89 (yes, he makes RHD ones too) for a couple of years. Its about to get re-covered in leather to match my other re-covered bits. Its very solid and sits at just the right height to rest your arm on while cruising along. It comes as just the lid - you unscrew the hinge from the stock lid and re-use it (screw holes already present in the replacement lid - so its a simple operation with a screwdriver).

edit2: I bought the armrest because my stock one, like so many other 928's I've seen, had cracked from being leant on (or possibly steeped on by small children in my case ).

He also makes a good looking center horn pad for the early 3-spoke 928 wheels, as well as Roger's hatch receivers.

edit: here's the horn pad - scroll down for pics in the listing.

Just put it in the checkout message, or send him a message via ebay. I had to add that I wanted a RHD one when I bought mine.

When you click on 'Read More' it takes you further down the page where the seller says the item listed comes in black. If you want another color, contact the seller.

I just ordered mine. Black is what I needed.

I ordered mine as we'll and then messages him that I wanted the light grey, as it appears in the top photo. He already wrote me back acknowledging my choice.

16.00 to Maine.
75.00 total for what appears to be a known good product.

I have one installed in my GT and it's just the right height to rest your arm and hand falls nicely on the gear shift..

Nice quality also
