Default Houston GTG - PCA, Drive, Lunch, Drive, Brewery Tour - June 21

For those in the Houston area, we'll be meeting at the Cypress PCA gathering Saturday June 21 at 9am at the Starbucks near Best Buy . We'll head out for a drive to Montgomery, TX about 10:30, and arrive at Old Montgomery Steak House for lunch about 11:30. After lunch, we'll take a scenic drive through the Sam Houston National Forest, around the north side of Lake Conroe, ending at Southern Star Brewing for a free tour (including a free pint) around 2.

Join us in Cypress, Montgomery or just for the tour. So far we have 10+ 928's confirmed and may also have some other PCA cars join us.

Get those ACs fixed now!

I will definitely post pics.

Just in the last few years Houston has gained lots of new owners that are into the social aspect of ownership and it's been a lot of fun. Roger has helped point them to me when they contact him for parts, and we now have over 50 owners registered in our Houston Google Group.

Don: I will be there but not in the 928. I'm taking it up to Sean in Denton the day before.

Andy: I know, Sean did a bunch of deferred maintenance items last year. This is round two (brakes, motor mounts, stereo, etc.)

Roger,

Hope you can make it down. Let me know if you need a couch to crash on Friday night.

Keith,

Your "other Porsche" is VERY cool, so no problem not having the 928. You just have to promise not to allow it's HP/AWD leave us all in the dust. Black, convertible, 9-something?

Don: I was thinking I might bring the Cayenne. I could carry more beer from the brewery!

Don, after attending the SITM this year and meeting so many great 928 owners, I just have to take off from work and FINALLY attend one of your well known local get-togethers. Life is too short and who can pass up a free pint..

We had a great turnout today and a fun time. Nine 928s and a 928 owner in his 993(Keith), and a friend of mine in his 991(Tim). Thanks to everyone who came out. Here's some pics I took.
