Default Tell me all you know about these wheels?

I've admired these wheels (this concaved version) for a long time.

I've always thought they would look great on a 928, but until these two pics I'd never seen one with them. Ive looked into many wheels like the Wheel Dynamics 808 series but they are never offered in the correct offsets for us.

So I came across these last night featured on a car up for sale back in 2013. No further info available.

Anyone know what brand and offsets these are?

Im hoping someone out there might know t

his car and its owner.

Don't know the specs, but that is a lot of wheel and very little rubber

Those look like 19's, way to little rubber and it gives the car a harsh jarring ride. Not fun.

Yep.

I have 17's and that's as far as I would go. If my car came with 16's and nice classic wheels, I would have left them.
Tire is good.
Not the popular trend these days.

Plus they are sticking out way too far....I ripped a fender with less sticking out than that but then again I was spinning and ended up at full lock still ripped the left front fender....

I have 18's, that is as far as I would go rim wise. More than that and the car begins to look ghetto..... and hurt your back.

I noticed that too. Frankly, I... I'll just say that this set up would not be for me, and would not be left like that.

They look like some variant of Champion Motorsports wheels, RS171's maybe?

Well thats shot all to hell!

There probably the 19" wheel dynamics 808 series then, which are only a 45et so obviously not doable.

Guess thats why we dont see this style wheel on the 928, fingers crossed that someday we see this wheel in an acceptable size and offset.

The hunt continues.

You might find some choices inside this massive thread.
Some of the pictures are expired, but there is a lot of info.
I think white lightning posted something similar at post 804 or so

I have 18s on my car. I like the wheels themselves, but I think 17s look nicer on a 928. However, 18s work better for me for tire selection.

I just put a set of these on a nougat braun 87' for a customer in black and they look amazing and fit perfectly. Once I work through my existing wheels I may have to get a set myself.

I have looked at these before.

Best offset I could find them in for the fronts was 45et...Which is not enough.

Have you found them with a higher offset?

I have something similar on mine (check my profile pic.) I would be happy to show you a bunch more pics as well as give you the low-down on how the ride feels.

They are actually my summer wheels since I have a set of stock wheels also. If you are interested/they are what you are looking for, I could let them go for the right price. PM me if interested or have questions.

They look like HRE's and also similar to the wheels Darien N. had on his years ago. Not bad looking for a big wheel.
