Default Hydro Graphics

Anyone thought about trying this for easy customization of some parts on the car? I've always been fascinated by this type of art/painting. Whether it be traditional Ebru or swirl painting on guitars and other instruments.

I've got a local fellow that does this.
But I really don't cant see any part on a 928 that this would look good on.

It might look good on the '85 -'86 intake. The giant pipe organ has ton's of surface area to cover.

The cost to powder coat all of the pieces is pretty large for a good job.

Default Carbon fiber hydro dipping

Has anyone had any of there plastic parts carbon fiber hydro dipped? Maybe on a car other then a 928 even.

If so where did you have it done and how did it turn out?

There was an episode of wheeler dealers in which they had it done and showed the process of it being applied. Very cool looking stuff to say the least.

I have a center console that I had redone with fiberglass and I think it would look bad a$$ with this process done to it.

I had a set of wheelie bars done. Looks cool, but expensive. For interior or plastic parts I'd opt for cf vinyl wrap

Search on YouTube.

One clip shows a guy CF hydro-dipping his hand.

The mind boggles @ the possibilities. ):]

Oh that's right - I forgot - you guys don't do humour. :-^)
