Possible dumb question...for the small price difference, is there a reason to go vinyl over leather? Does it last longer? If you're doing the whole dash, even if the original car had vinyl I'm not sure why one wouldn't go for leather.

I hope you keep making these for a while...I don't have one of these cars yet, but when I do, I imagine the dash will need this...

For some of the guys living in the sunshine states , vinyl is an better option. It's more durable and less maintenance.

Not in stock, but we can make up a dash, pod or center console in brown vinyl.

Can you do vinyl covering without the seams, like the original?

I meant that, can the vinyl covering over the pod, dash & console be done without the stitching? I would want the later style vent covers though. I have an 89. What would be the price(s)?
Thanks

Wow looks great!

I have the full leather package in my 86.5 (at least I think), everything is covered in leather, headliner, sunvisors, Doors, dash, etc.

However the pod is not covered in leather, should it be (maybe PO swapped it in the past) ? Or was it an additional option?

I really like the leather pod, mine looks a bit plasticy (it is in perfect condition tho)

Cheers
Michel

Could you wrap other brand components with the stitching? I want to do my daily driver arm rests in fake black suede, or alcantara.
