Misc S4 Parts for Sale
Below are some items for sale. All prices are plus shipping.
Oil Pump - $75
Oil Pan - $75 SOLD
S4 Cams, 2 sets, 88 & 89 - $300 each
Set of 8 pistons, rods from '89 TBF engine with 125k. Some stuck rings, and needs to be cleaned up, but no major issues - $100
Rear Console, black - $60 SOLD
Black Pod Dash cap, new, top and front pieces - $35 SOLD
(no pic)
Black Pod, front refinished, top covered in black leather. Very nice looking. - $250

do you know the piston tolerance code 1 2 3 ? its in the top edge of the piston,
it has to match the bore on the block its used in

I'll look for the code this evening. I would have thought all engines of the same type would use the same size pistons and rings. Learn something new every day here. Also learned that there is a unique 3 digit number on each rod and end cap that helps when matching up these parts after disassembly.

I'm not seeing any codes on the top. There's a fair amount of carbon build up, so may be missing it. Looking at another professionally cleaned piston that I have(not part of the set), I also don't see any codes, but there is something that could be the codes that's really hard to read next to the Arrow on the top of the piston. Is that where the code is? I can't really make it out, even on the clean piston.

the number is stamped near the edge of the top surface so it will line up with the number thats stamped into the block.
NOTE REF the WSM for tolerance code info,
those rings may come out after soaking them in simple green for a day or so
