before you get too far into a take things apart mode,

I would strongly suggest to get some deoxit spray and aim the tube into the seat switches,
then do the CE panel ,
you might find the seats work as advertised.

This.

There are those that have propped a 4' plank from, say, a stool outside the car to the threshold plate of the door opening. Easier to get in and out and less contortion whether you're sitting on it or lying on your on belly or back. Even better if the car is jacked up, or on stands or liftbars.

Have fun.

It's not always what you would suspect. This is what I found to be the problem with mine.https://rennlist.com/forums/members/...ad-switch.html

No planks immediately available last night. I did the head/shoulder/knee stand instead. I can make a video if needed. You have to get in a certain position, and then you just dive into the footwell behind the seat.

I guess I must have dreamt it all.

When I went out this morning, just for the fun of it, I tried the switches and everything worked. Even though it still was not working when I left the car last night--I kept trying the switches the whole time--it apparently just needed the night to heal. I'm glad I got rid of that problem once and for all.

My passenger window counted to five before it decided to move today. Push the down button (not holding it down)...1...2...3...4...5...down she goes. Worked fine before and after.

I think I have some of this stuff that I use on my audio connectors. I also have some liquid gold or something like that. The deoxit was red if I remember. Do you really just spray it into the CE panel slots? I'd be afraid to do more than putting a little on a Q-tip and cleaning that way--wouldn't want to cause a short.

Take the switches apart and clean the contacts or it will happen again.
