Well Ive been poking around on the site and others trying to find out how the chin spoiler was attached in the middle with the three locations under the grill. I had a number of responses. Here is the correct information. I started with a new set of three grill slats from Porsche( they are now made of plastic not aluminum). They are all molded in with a extra screw hole in the bottom to act as the mounting point for the chin spoiler from below. I also started with a new chin spoiler because my original one was 30 years old and had been repaired many times. Once the Grill is built up I installed it in the car. When you look from below the spoiler the holes for the spoiler locate directly below the last crossbar for the grill. Using a small sheet metal screw and a fender washer to secure each of the three holes I now have a secure grill and spoiler. I guess that Porsche either replaced the material of the grill for plastic to either make it cheaper or more flexible.
