Headlight issue

The headlights stayed on after retraction this morning. I pulled the relay and reinstalled, that seemed to fix the problem. Is the relay failing and needing replaced as this has never happened before. Thanks.

Sounds like dirty contacts where the relay plugs into the CE panel.

Thanks. I just read you can crack the relay case and clean the contacts. Will try that before buying a new relay. Looks like a Saturday job for me.

I have not found issues inside the relay as much as with the external prongs on the relay and the sockets of the CE panel.
