Default tps adjust

I replaced the main cables on the GTS; quadrant to throttle body and the loud pedal to quadrant.

After prelim cable adjust I then checked the inputs to the EZK following Dwaynes write up; idle and off idle then idle to WFO. All values are good but the pedal has to be on the floor to get WFO readings at EZK.

Other than removing the intake and moving, replacing the TPS is there anything else that can be adjusted

Mine had to be at the floor too for the WOT switch to work. I think that is how the TPS functions; however, can you verify you have taken all slack out at the firewall? This may make the WOT switch activate sooner.

Should activate around the 90% throttle range.... You could technically open it and modify the internals to engage sooner.

Keep playing with your cables, there are about a million adjustments there, be glad the auto bowden is not one of them.

thx guys.

Sean, I adjusted the main quadrant to throttle body with the others disconnected so going off idle position I get infinite resistance measuring 18 to 8 points at the EZK then zero resistance with the pedal on the floor measuring at the 18 and 26 EZK pins.

The pedal cable was then attached and adjusted at the firewall to remove the slack then the cruise control.

Couldn't find the auto cable

Malcolm - if you do have to take the intake off - get the Dynamic Kickdown project started with the new TPS... just a thought... Get details from Schocki: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...eferrerid=6055
