and of course a little help from my firends - Rick (Wyattsride) and Jim (Jadz928). And no, Jim wasn't commenting on Rick's manhood

I hope so Mike. These jobs are tedious.

That engine is just beautiful! Ed's attention to detail is beyond Super Human. In person the engine is even more impressive.
Great night we three had drinking some beers, talking 928's and other topics. I haven't seen Jim since Frenzy, so it was very nice to see him again.
I think Jim is expressing about how much more time until BLUMAXX will be fired up and ripping up, the PA roads!!
Awesome work ED.

All done now. Whew, what a job, and it runs great. Feels better than before in fact, but it justmay be in my head. In any event, there is nothing like the final button up, and then starting it up and having it actually work after doing all this stuff. Tonight, put the last of the coolant hoses on, filled with coolant (55/45 distilled water to Zerex G-50 gold, 4 gals), plus topped of oil - 7 qts Royal Purple 20W50. Jumped the fuel pump relay and let it run for a bit to check for fuel leaks (none; pushed car into drivway and had fire extinguishers at the ready). Then started it up. Fired right up then died. This happened 3 more times, then I held the gas pedal just a bit until it stabilized itself. Settled into a nice rumbling idle at 750 steady. Took it for a spin, and it ran great. Idles perfectly. Checked for leaks, so far nothing. Had to add a bit more coolant to top off the expansion tank after the car was warmed up. The temp guage stayed steady at just above the one third mark which is normal for my car. I will need to run it more tomorrow night to make sure everything really is ok. Glad to have the worst of it behind me, broken screws and all. Thanks to all of you who helped me along the way. This board makes it all possible
