Default 928srus windscreen trim is awesome!

This upgrade makes a very big improvement to the appearance of the windscreen. We spent approx. 2 hrs to complete a easy installation by my very patient wife. I could of completed this task sooner but the quality of install would have suffered greatly. Roger supplies plenty of material and all that is needed is a sharp single edge blade and soapy water. Why these cars ever left the factory without these is a mystery to me.

Looks good. Have you noticed a reduction in wind noise?

Yes, the wind noise has reduced dramatically. I now hear the rear tires on the pavement. Roger?

Had some silicone extrusion left over after glazing my conservatory roof and discovered it a perfect fit for the windshield gaps.

Yeah.. Wtf!? I didn't know about these! I have a new windshield too!! I just got some outer window seals. I think Roger needs to expand his advertising dept.. I can't tell from the pics but does this kit fill in the massive gap under the metal windshield trim between it and the glass?

$46 plus shipping shipped. Oops. Quite reasonable, IMO.

It fills the gap along the side of the windshield between the trim and the glass. It comes in one long piece. More than enough to do both sides, so you can screw up trimming the end (for the narrow part of the gap) once or twice and still have enough for the job.

My gap was actually too big for the seal to fit tightly, but a hammer fixed that well enough.

Install is really easy. Soapy water, a good push and a new razor blade to trim in some places.
I have a couple clips or something back along the edge of the windshield. I just trimmed out a chunk of the back so that the seal would fit tight to the back.
I also have something up near the top, I just cut mine short (about 2" from the top). That left about 18" or so to spare. My understanding is that there is supposed to be some airflow under the trim to push water through the gutters along the side of the roof. I may or may not make a couple of smaller pieces to go up near the top and around the corner like the OP's pic.

I wanted to take a noise reading before and after, but I couldn't find anyone with that app on their phone, and I wasn't willing to wait.
It seems to cut the wind noise down some. But it's hard to pin down, and I haven't had it much over 70 since the install.

I installed these a couple of weeks ago. A good sharp Xacto knife makes the install easy. Nice addition and highly recommended.

Selling like "Hot X Buns" - plenty more in stock.

They are $38 for the pair plus $8 shipping in the CONUS.
