Wow thes are bright.
from the picture posted,
it appears that the bulb on the left needs to be adjusted upwards a bit to get the full benefit of the light on the road.
The Cree lamp does look brighter the light color looks to be in the 4500 range.
I have HID on my BMW MC and its a 4500 and it is very bright.

NOTE installing the lamp cover will make things even brighter in your pictures,
as you wont be having to see the light coming out from the back of the reflector assembly

Hi
Thanks for your comments. The Headlights are on full beam and there is a throw close to the Car which shows up more through the camera lens & filter than by the human naked eye. The light is adjusted about right for the UK MOT road test where there is a light reflector box which shows the position of the beam spread and it shows the focus spread at the centre of the beam just below the correct horizontal H4 reflector beam line.

The Colour temp is actually 5500k as you can see below.
I have obviously put the lamp cover back on as you say, the light intensity looks much better with the back cover on. Well spotted!
